Kissiah was the daughter of John Alverson and Frances Ann Alverson. She married a Bentley and moved to Talladega County Alabama sometime between 1836 and 1843 judging by her children. Her husband had evidently died after 1843 and before the 1850 census as Kissiah is listed at the head of the household.
